Lulu and Wiley's Mother's Day 5K Trail Race

Hello everyone,

Lulu and I are putting together Lulu and Wiley's Mother's Day 5K Trail Race this Sunday. Some people thought we were joking, but we're not. This event will happen rain or shine. Lightning will be our showstopper.

It will be a failure without people showing up, so we hope you'll have an interest in joining us.

Yes, some people will run it hard, but really, think of it as a fun run or a Sunday morning trail run with friends. That's really all it is. And we'll make sure there's water, beer and bagels ready for your afterwards.

Maybe you should bring a change of clothes, shoes, and whatever else you'd want to eat/drink post run.

You don't have to race it, you can just come out and run it at a leisurely pace.

P.S. Yes, we know it's Mother's Day, but seriously, does Mother's day really start before 10am? If you're "the mom" then you make the rules! And if you're the spouse, and your "Mom" has an issue with it, tell her to join you, or ask her nicely to have a heart and support a small fun get together.
