Run Log 6/10/2007 - 6/17/2007

Need to get better at posting just one week at a time, so here's last week.
This was our easy/recover week. (2 weeks on, 1 week recovery, 2 weeks on, 1 week recovery...)

6/10/2007 Sunday 7:30AM 5Miles - Ran greenbelt trails. From Moonshadow to the water and then backl up cedarchop. Probably a little in under 5 miles. My legs were tired. I guess I really forced it the last 2 miles in my long run the day before. I did a lot of run walk on the hills as I was pretty tired, but had a nice time out there. Karma loved it. He runs so much more energized off the leash. Weather was super humid.
6/11/2007 Monday 5:45AM 7miles - Ran Town lake loop with Nedra and Karma. Felt pretty tired, but all in all, and ice run. Felt better as the run went on.
6/12/2007 Tuesday 5:30AM 6.5miles - Ran 1.75 miles to the Austin High track, then 3 miles of straights and curves. Goal was to run the straights in 22 - 24 seconds and curves in no longer than 36 seconds, All fast times were between 22 and 23 seconds except lap 8 which had one straight in the 23 seconds range. slowest rico-very was 34 seconds. Most were around 30 seconds. I felt fine all the way around. most interesting is I was not tired at work leading up to lunch, and barely got a loss of energy in the afternoon.
6/13/2007 Wednesday 6AM 5Miles - Ran 4 miles down to the water and back up cedar chop with Karma, Brad and Triscuit. Felt fine. The pace was a little faster than usual trail runs, but I felt ok. My legs were a little dead towards the end, but all in all, a ince run.
6/14/2007 Thursday 5:30AM 4 miles of St Eds Loop, then rubber band workout at South Congrees Athletic Club. The run was fine. Just need to stop eating chips with Olestra for lunch the day efore so I don't have to use the rest room 7 time4 before and during the workout.
6/15/2007 Friday 6AM 4miles - Ran Spider Jungle with Triscuit and Lulu and Karma. There were so many friggin spider webs it was incredbile. Easily ran thourgh 30 webs and busted aother 20 or 30 with my wiper blade stick. I've never seen that many spiders ever. The run was tons fo fun. Laughed our asses off at all the webs we ran into, and the run fetl fine to me. Probably because we chose easy paths, middle road backwards, and we had to slow down for so many spider web shake offs.
6/16/2007 Saturday 10Miles - Big Fire. See report below.
6/17/2007 Sunday 0 Miles - Off because I ran Friday instead.

Total Miles 41.5 (8 days worth, just 36.5 for 7 recovery week days)
