Run Log Update - Monday 6/25 - Sunday 6/30

6/25/2007 - Monday - Off. Rest from the belt. Ouch.
6/26/2007 - Tuesday - 5:30AM - 8Miles - 3.5 cool and warmup. Warhurst times 3. One mile from Austin High track up veterans, to lake Austin blvd, back down by Mangia, around Deep Eddy, and back to Austin High. Then jump on the track to run 800M at 10k. Paces: 1stM- 7:09 800:3:06 2ndM- 6:58 800:2:58 3rdM- 6:52 800:2:52 YEAH! Sumbitch this workout is hard as hell.
6/27/2007 - Wednesday - 5:45AM - 5Miles - Met Nedra to run 5 miles. I felt quite tired still, and it rained on us right at the end, but not too bad. We wished it would have rained during the run.
6/28/2007 - Thursday - 5:30AM - 9Miles - 3.5 miles or warmups and cooldowns. Then 4 sets of CV2000. The workout consists of running 5 laps at 15k pace (6:55 / mile for me). As it’s 2000 meters (5 laps and not 4 which would be a mile) that pace translates to an 8:30 finish time target. The workout is the same one we did about 4 weeks ago. And back then my times were: 8:28 - 8:34 - 8:27 - 8:09. Today, I couldn’t hit my 200 meter splits to save my life. I needed 52 second 200s but ran every one between 48 and 50 seconds. I just could not slow down. I finished the 4 sets in 8:21 – 8:17 – 8:21 – 8:17. (9 – 13 seconds faster than last time.) What do those translate to in pace per mile? Right around 6:37 per mile. Not bad, not bad. Almost makes me want to try and bust out a new 5K PR, but i just dont have the desire to race right now.
6/29/2007 - Friday - OFF
6/30/2007 - Saturday - 6AM - 16Miles - Crestview loop which is clearly my favorite Rogue run that doesn't involve Hell. Ran with a group of people and took 2hours and 20 mins including allthe stops. Nedra says we ran 8:13 seconds average pace. Not bad. I felt ok. We ended with strides along the bridge, and i felt ok after stretching and a quick cool down shower. 1 Gu at Mile 8.
7/1/2007 - Sunday - 9:30am - 3Miles - 32 minutes of trail running. Just didn't feel like runing, so just went out and stretched the legs and let Karma run around.

Total: 41 Miles. Should have been 51 miles, but didn't run on Monday as I recovered from the race the day before.
