Insomnia but I'm ok with it

I lie here in bed unable to sleep. Granted it's 7 am and i've only
been struggling with sleep since 5:51. I went to sleep around 11:20,
as we went to the 'spirit of the marathon' ( www.marathonmovie.com ).
The documentary was pretty cool, as it revolves around the chicago
marathon' so I got to see what's ahead of me in terms of the course,
the crowds and the 9 hills -read that as bridge crossings-.
As it was part of the Chicago film festival, the director and a few of
the features runners were there for Q&A session. Pretty cool.
Other events yesterday included, the expo for packet pickup and some
minor purchases, pasta lunch, nap, dinner at Shula's steakhouse (as we
had no reservations anywhere and the waits were too long. Holy cow was
my steak, baked potato and asparagus good, but I'm not sure I'm ready
to lay down $40 on a 8oz Filet Mignon any time soon again!)

I'm happy with 6.5 hours of sleep. Yes it could have been better, but
on the books for today we have the following:
- eat breakfast. I brought cereal from home and bought organic fat
free milk, a stoney field farms yoghurt(thanks Shorey for the tip!),
and bananas, so no $$ spent on restaurant.
- return rental car 0.1 mile away by 9am.
- Dartl and I will head out for a little run. 20-25 minutes to shake
out the cob webs. We're going to go to the start/finish area to get
acquainted. It's only 5 or 6 blocks away.
- return, shower, eat more, drink water and take a nap and lie in bed
until lunch time watching college football. Eat lunch.
- return for more lying on bed and watching TV.
- 2pm, head over to Nedra's condo to watch the UT/OU game at 2:30.
- cook up pasta & chicken we bought at whole foods and have our "last
supper".
- retrun to hotel, and attempt to fall aseep by 9pm for a 5am wakeup.

So there u have it, a lazy day. Just what the Dr ordered.
