Hi, Every so often, I read a friend's post where they ask people to comment on the blog (or even email them) so that the blog owner can get an idea of how many people actually read their blog.
The problem with those requests (which I've also made), is that a lurker is typically not too keen on participating on the blog. They may read something that makes them laugh, smile, or even cry, but they don't comment, which is perfectly OK.
Take for instance my Mom or Dad. They live out of the country. I know they read the blog, but they don't comment. My mom will comment from time to time via an email to me, but overall, they just read to stay up with what I do. (at least i think they have an interest, and are not just doing it as a chore to act like they care) haha
So here's the deal, I'd like to ask each and every person reading this to help me out. It will be completely anonymous, so i think even the most timid person will find enough courage to click a button.
