Ran 8 miles this morning, of which 7 were with Lex and Jo Dee.
With these 8 miles, I've reached a running lifetime distance of 2990 miles.
(This is since I started "real" running on September 6th, 2006 training for the Motive Half Marathon.)
I may have to stop at the 10 mile marker tomorrow and give a speech and accept the applauses, flowers and congratulatory gift certificates.
How far is 3,000 miles? Well, playing with straight lines on GMAP Pedometer:
NY - Seattle - 2,400 Miles

Mexico City - Lima, Peru - 2,650

I'm tired.

Congrats! I'll dedicate my Pabst on top of Pikes Peak tomorrow to your 3000th mile. FYI, I'm on pace to run over 3000 miles in 2008.
