Dark Knight (no spoilers)

Shorey and I decided last week to go see Dark Knight at the IMAX. So we both got our own tickets online, and decided to just meet at the IMAX, first one getting the best spot in line as it would undoubtedly sell out.

Sell out it did, so i showed up about 40 minutes before the start, and Shorey, was only 2 spots behind me in the Will Call line! How's that for timing?!

The line was already about 50-70 metres long when we got there, and quickly grew to over 3 times that length. We still ended up getting great seats. I'd really hate to be the idiots suckers that failed to show up early enough and had to sit at the bottom. IMAX screen is gigantoid, so if you're not in the top 3rd of the theatre, you're not "sitting pretty".

The movie was good, and Shorey had cheated and seen it at the Alamo on Sunday. Can't really blame her, as her condo complex had to shut off the water due to a big leak, so it wasn't too good to be sitting at home without water.

The point I'm trying to make here is this one: Shorey saw it at the Alamo drafhouse as well as at the IMAX, and (she loved it both times, but) she preferred the IMAX. Boy was it thunderously loud in there too!

Did I like it, yes, I did. So far the best Summer movie I've seen, but I haven't seen Zohan yet.

So there you have it.
Go see Dark Knight at the IMAX, but show up more than 30 minutes before the start to ensure a prime seat!
