17.2 miles today were a little bit rough,but certainly not disastrous. Entirely my fault as I didn't hydrate enough yesterday, so my legs were heavy throughout the entire run. I even told Ken or Bruce or Jason or someone (it was dark) right at the 1/2 mile mark or so, that I felt really thirsty already. In addition, when I got home, I weighed myself and had lost 3.6 pounds of water weight on the run.
I finished nonetheless, and we ran a brisk sub 8 min pace, including many at sub 7:45s.
Put 1.2 miles in before the 16 mile group run.
A rookie hydration mistake, I know better. Tomorrow, the 10-15 miler will be perfect.
39.7 for the week... 45.3 to go in 3 days. Should be a piece of cake with a 24 miler on Saturday.
