We ended up running a 10.35 mile variant of "the Turista". Today there were 7 of us, and everyone ran well
Glad to report that I have a new blood blister on my right foot, but my left foot looks as pretty as a model's foot.
On another note, I decided to swing by Academy (sport and outdoors) yesterday, to look at Swiss Balls. You know those giant beach ball looking things that people do workouts on, but also sit on during the work day. The one I got is a little different than the ones I've seen at Rogue, as it has about 1kg (2 lbs) of sand in it, so it's doesn't roll around, and instead stays put.
Yesterday, I sat on it for 30 minutes or so, but my back hurt too much. Today, I've sat on it since 8:20am, and i'm feeling fine. During a
Sisson was right that you definitely sit much more upright on it, and therefore are more engaged in your work. However, I don't have much of a butt, so 4 hours later, my left butt cheek is numb and sore. I think i'm going to have to ease into a full work day of Swiss Ball sitting action, but I do like it.
Time for lunch. Should I use Pumpernickel or Whole grain?
Distance 11.5
Week's Total: 22.5
62.5 away from my goal of 85... 24 on sat and 16 tomorrow, leaves 22.5 between Friday and Sunday.
Where's the easy button?!
