I'm trying something new from now on.

Last week I decided i would take Sunday as my off day, so even though i ended up just going 1 mile due to a silly back pain on Tuesday, mentally I really wanted Sunday day off. So i took my mellowman day and it was great.

Today, I woke up with my new attitude:
crank away at work, don't postpone chores around the house, don't postpone errands, and run with renewed enthusiasm. (not that i wasn't enjoying my running before)

And... so far so great!

Here's the new thing so brace yourselves!
I'm no longer going to tell you the route i ran, it takes too long. Instead, simply tell you how far, with who, how i felt, and where i drank water. You can then play out the routes on your own. Maybe i'll sprinkle in a landmark if it's worthwhile. Exciting stuff huh?!

Ran 14.7 miles from Barton Springs.
1.2 miles with Karma, then Ken, Bruce and I went off. Ken's turn to decide to the route, and we found water at the 24 hour fitness on Red River and Hancock, at Epoch Coffee, at Jester, at Auditorium Shores. Felt absolutely fantastic all the way.

I'm happy to report that they have paved congress between City Hall and congress! I bet it'll only be a couple more days to finish that stuff, and traffic will be flowing again!

Note: If you're slender, and cool off at Barton Springs for 20 minutes after a run, you'll be freezing your butt off at HEB when you run in there for the dishwasher soap and cothes detergent you needed to get.

14.7 down, 85.3 miles to go. Gonna be easy!

Happy Monday everyone, and as always, Happy running!
