Isn't weird how I got the seat number correct! (Sorry, I blacked out my last name... I don't post my name on my blog, but trust me, i wouldn't be making this up creating Plane Manifestos from 25 years ago!!)
Note how Jackie Joyner Kersee and husband were also on the plane.
Ben Johnson was sitting ahead of me, and not behind. (Why do I remember him sitting behind me??? Hmm....)
I should research those other names, see if they ever amounted to anything.
Turns out this was Dec 19 (and not summer - sorry, it was 25 years ago, not just last week this happened.) I was on my way to spend Christmas in Mexico, and not Sweden for the summer. I still ran in his name around the house breakig world records tho!
Regardless. It was 1983, and 8 or 9 months later, both Edwin and Ben would win Gold medals! (probably because they got to meet me!)
P.S. Now if I can only find the autograph in that box of memories... (I'll look later when i give myself another 10 minutes. I did find my Andre Agassi autograph from when he was 18, and a new comer, and Mats Wilander's too, when he won the Frnch Open in 1988)
