I installed iTunes 8.0, and downloaded iPhone update 2.1.
Now my machine is backing up my iPhone before the 2.1 upgrade.
Why is this backup taking 2+ hours, and we're not even half way through the process (based on the blue progress bar).
Did anyone else's backup procedure take this long, or is my computer just that slow? (My iPhone only had 3.7GB out of the 8GB used up. )

Yea, my backup took forever when I installed the update too. But the good news is after its installed, te normal sync/backup is tons faster.
I'm waiting for you guys to tell me how it all goes before "upgrading" :-)
