I finally got my marathon finisher certificate (Race Report Here) in the mail from last December's run. I know the time is considered good, it's my PR, and many people would kill for this time, but to me it's just makes me feel "BLAH". Why BLAH?
Don't dwell on your blah race! Even though AT7T was 6 min slower than my PR, I count that as my best race ever as far as stratagy and feeling good. If I have doubts about my running I go back to that race and I can still feel the adrenaline rush of flying up San Jacinto and passing a bunch of suffering runners.
oh, i'm not dwellin'. Dallas is long gone, and never hapenned. (neither did Chicago) Just reporting i got my Blah certificate in the mail 9 months later. ; )
