T - 43 = Best run in a LOOONG time

Friday morning I had a little flexibility in my work schedule so i decided to get up, do some work, then head out for a trail run with Karma at 8am.
It's been a really long time since I've run the greenbelt in daylight, so that was treat #1.
Treat #2, was the fact that it was about 45 degrees outside which made for longsleeve and gloves. There's nothing better than a greenbelt run in cold conditions.
Treat #3 was that Karma was super pumped up about the weather and was running like a champ, so we extend the planned 3 to 4 mile out-and-back to a fun 5 mile loop.
Treat #4 was the sun rising up over the greenbelt line, no wind, water evaporating from the creek into mist/fog like clouds dancing on the water's surface.
Treat #5 was sitting myself down on some rocks in the middle of the water by the dam, and checking out all the bass and turtles swimming up towards me, curious to see if I may be some type fo treat.
Treat #6 is that I rented out the entire greenbelt to myself. Not a soul anywhere, not a sound except a bird or two.
Treat #7 was Karma's tail waggin' all the way!

Just truly one of the best runs in a very long time. The type of run that makes you remember what running is all about. (definitely not being a slave to a stopwatch, a certain pace, a GPS contraption, or some timeline that needs to be kept)
