Ran 1.2 mile Karma loop before I met up with Jason and Bruce for 10. In that little loop, I realized it was colder than usual and pulled out the gloves for the first time this year.
5 miles into the run, my hands were sweating and the gloves were off.
Barton Springs was painfully cold. Not the magical mystical water, but getting out was pure displeasure. I'd forgotten what it felt like to be THAT cold!
I was cold even in my sweatshirt, cranked the heater in the car and took a giant hot shower.
Too bad the weather warms back up for tomorrow and the next few days. Mother nature is such a tease.
Sitting at 36 miles for the week, so this looks like an easy 75 mile week, which I'm quite happy about. Who knows, maybe if i'm lucky i get to post an 80 mile week. Next week I'm in Chicago for work for several days, so we'll see what I can drum up then.

Yeah I was thinking I might wear gloves tomorrow and a shirt. Darn...I hate really hot weather but I don't like the cold either. If I can, I might go down to Barton Springs for a soak after the run. Nothing better than being freezing cold and cranking the heat in the car though...mmmmm.
