T - 59 : 15 Miles medium long run

Today was Back to the Future as we reverted back to the days of just running base miles instead of speed work.

Ran out on the South Austin Ramble course for a 7.5 out and back for a total of 15 miles.

I clearly didn't eat enough food yesterday (sometimes i get lazy/carried away working and don't get to lunch properly) and I knew this when i went to bed. So I took 2 Gu's with me and that made it work. Our pace was probably faster than it should have been, but we made a conscious effort after 7 miles to slow the %@#^% down from a 7:25 pace to an 8 min pace.

I'm excited about this coming Saturday's workout, it's going to be a tough one.
The real challenge will be staying awake and coherent throughout the Texas - OU game that has an 11am kickoff, so no time for a nap after another hard 28 miler.
Redbull or beer?
