count on the results website, I passed 135 runners in the second half
of the marathon. And those are just the ones I've counted on my
little phone screen.
NOT ONE PERSON passed me from Mile 20 onwards. NOT ONE.
I cannot begin to tell you how good it felt to run the last 6.2 miles.
I was stronger than EVERYONE around me. EVERY SINGLE ONE.
And listening to a dozen of my teammates' race recaps over lunch,
EVERYONE felt the same way.
Just wait till I tell you about the Mile 20 bridge! Man oh man was
that good stuff!!

That passing people at the end is the bomb isn't it! That is exactly what I did at Austin this year and exactly what I plan to do at Austin next year. It's amazing how that makes it just seem not so bad in the last 6 miles when everyone else is dying and you are just getting going. Especially on those nasty little hills placed at strategic places like your bridge and my San Jacinto.
you are a badass!
