I just read that the packet pickup for the 3M half marathon..."will be at 3M and not at RunTex where it is normally hosted. The 3M Innovation Center at 6801 River Place Boulevard will have packet pick up from 7-7 on Friday and 8-6 on Saturday."
Ouch, that's way the heck out there, and a 45-60 round trip adventure for most just for a packet pickup! Yet another good reason why I didn't sign to run it.

This makes me sad... 3m is a half way point for me. I am 31 miles -ONE WAY - from Rogue. I can't wait until I can sell and move in. You luckys.
ps. If you ever need anything out in the wilderness you just let me know...
race day packet pickup. no biggie
The drive from Manor to 3M is a straight shot - it was not a big deal at all. I went mid day - no traffic, easy parking, not crowded, an HEB right near by so I could get groceries at the same time. All in all - less hassle than Runtex and far less hassle than the marathon packet pick up. I'd be all for 3M hosting the marathon expo.
