Guess it makes sense, since the stitches are fresh from yesterday afternoon, and arm and calf get lots of motion on a run, so no sense in screwing up the healing process so it looks nice for the rest of my life.
Probably no running tomorrow or Thursday either.
Doc says a week, but I told him I'm probably going to disappoint him because Saturday is a must run day. He said that should probably be fine. I'll just check on the stitches from time to time, and make sure it's holding up ok, and bring cab money! hahah
Once heeled, they'll be small straight lines, not butcher cuts. (I think. at least that's what he said)
By the way, those photos are freshly taken like 30 seconds after the doc was done, so there's plenty of swelling due to anesthesia. They are purposely sown that way so that once they heal up and swelling goes down, they are flat to the skin surface and NOT like craters down below the skin-line.
