because I want to do this right.
I will need:
Money to buy a bicycle, a helmet, gloves, shoes, a wetsuit, sponge
thingie that goes between the legs, plastic things for my hands,
flippers, and a wakeboard looking thing.
I think I will also need a garmin, computer for the bicycle, a
trainer for the house and new music for my iPod.
I also have to save up money to buy the assorted clothing I will need
for all different weather conditions for cycling, those shorts that
have pillows sown into the butt area, maps of cycling friendly roads,
and one and two piece swimsuits, right?
I will also need thousands of dollars for coaching fees and race entry
fees, and enough money to buy one of those bike racks that makes my
car 3 feet longer.
This money saving may take time. In fact it may take a long time, but
I've got two jars on my little counter by the door and I'll start
saving money in those.
So far I counted 1,456 pennies in one jar, and 76 quarters, 109 dimes
and 54 nickles in the other.
Remind me to pick up those papers to make coin rolls from the bank and
buy a calculator to add all that up.
I'll keep everyone updated on my progress.
I will be the best triathlete ever.

my bank has a coin counter, so you don't need the stupid paper coin roll thingies.
Do they have a jar of assorted flavored lollipops?
because that's what keeps me at mine.
You better put a third bottle on your counter...if you're gonna blow a load of money on a bike you might as well go all out and get the most loaded, lightest, coolest looking one out there! And some $2K wheels too. And you'll need a rack to store it on in your home, and a special security system so it doesn't get stolen and polishing cloths so you can shine it up every day. Don't forget the tattoo you are going to need.
Have fun training. There is no doubt in my mind that you have the tenacity to be the best trathelete ever.
oh yeah...you don't need a calculator...you already have one on you iPhone.
I've decided to take the minimalist approach towards my triathlon training...
