Just a bunch of dribble...

I love the word Banter, but when I saw Lance use the word drivel to describe Contador’s prattle, I immediately coveted that word. That then led to finding more fantastic words that are part of the Banter family.

-10 bonus "loser points" to whomever uses these words in my vicinity. (minus points are good)

Banter:
an exchange of light, playful, teasing remarks; good-natured raillery.

Drivel:
childish, silly, or meaningless talk or thinking; nonsense; twaddle.
to talk childishly or idiotically.
to utter childishly or idiotically.
to waste foolishly.

Twaddle:
to talk in a trivial, feeble, silly, or tedious manner; prate.
to utter as twaddle.

Prattle:
to talk in a foolish or simple-minded way; chatter; babble.
to utter by chattering or babbling.

Prate:
to talk excessively and pointlessly; babble: They prated on until I was ready to scream.
to utter in empty or foolish talk: to prate absurdities with the greatest seriousness.

Gabble:
to speak or converse rapidly and unintelligibly; jabber.
to cackle.
to utter rapidly and unintelligibly.
rapid, unintelligible talk.
any quick succession of meaningless sounds.

Cackle:
to utter a shrill, broken sound or cry, as of a hen.
to laugh in a shrill, broken manner.
to chatter noisily; prattle.
to utter with cackles; express by cackling: They cackled their disapproval.
