VIVA MEXICO!!!!

I bet you guys thought I'd forgot to post a celebratory note on Mexico's win over the US on Wednesday?!

It was a great great game and the team that dominated and controlled the entire match got the much deserved win.

Even trying to choke the mexican players wasn't enough cheating to pull out a victory in Azteca Stadium and Mexico extends it's perfect record against the US there to 23 wins, 1 tie, 0 losses.

You know, I've only ever been to ONE single USA - MEXICO world cup qualifying game, and it just happens to be that game that ended in a tie back in 1997. It was a 0-0 game, and I guess I should say that mexico got lucky because the US hit the crossbar in the first half, sending my heart into near cardiac arrest.

(I also attended a Mexico USA friendly game in Houston a few years ago, and that one ended in a 0-0 tie as well, but that was a boring game, unlike the Azteca Stadium game. )

I'm a big sports fan, and I can tell you that, Except maybe the VY show at the rosebowl, I've never experienced anything better than that sold out game at Azteca stadium against the US. ()
