I apparently do great in freezing conditions.

It was right around freezing temps, but with the wind it was closer to 24f this morning when we started. We ran most of the Austin Marathon course. I ran with Dan and our goal was to run around 21-22 miles, at no faster than his marathon goal pace for 15 miles, then run significantly faster for 5 miles, then an easy cool down back to the store.

I ran 3 extra before hand, and ended up with around 24.5 miles today. Here are approximations of how I did.
1 easy, 2 sub 8, then 15 at 7:40min/mile, 5 at 7min/mile, 1/2 mile easy, then took off without dan for a final 1mile at 6:30min/mile. I felt great all the way, and more importantly, Dan did awesome.

As for the weather, once the sun came up and we turned the corner leaving the headwind behind us, the sun felt great, and i stripped down to a short sleeve which was perfect.

legs felt great today, despite the pretty hard Tuesday and Thursday.
