I ran some trails today with Meredith. Nothing too too steep and no long hills.
Most rolling terrain. All rolling and technical stuff where I has to bounce around rocks and the knee felt fine. Just felt like a slight bruise.
But as soon I hit 50+ yard super flat sections i could feel that it would be getting progressively worse if this was a flat road run.
Overall, about and hour and a half of running. Felt good to just have the privilege to run again on rolling trails, even if the prognosis for a flat asphalt run tomorrow is less than promising.
The good news is, 90 minutes felt totally easy. Even tho it wasn't totally fast, we did run a decent pace out there and I didn't feel tired at all. Maybe aquarunnning is truly keeping me afloat.
Looks like aquarunning will still be part of my life. Hooray.
