How you can help Tim and his parents

Excerpt from an email I got from Kenny, a good friend of Tim and his family.

(sorry, don't need weird people scraping my email or phone number with webspiders!)

We are still far from being done, so we are going to go at it again, this Saturday. Here are the details, which are pretty much the same as last time:

Due to the heat and humidity in the afternoon, and the lack of lighting at night, we will be getting to work bright and early this Saturday from 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM at
2210 East Riviera Drive, Cedar Park, TX 78613
We're hopeful that we will get enough volunteers to be able to move the remaining items out of the home, catalog them, and then either dispose of them or briefly wash them for salvage. We also will be doing some light demolition work (tearing out drywall and carpets, but not removing studs/framing/windows/etc). We're pretty optimistic that this will be the last heavy work day at the home, for a while anyway.

If you have mud-boots/galoshes/rubber work boots, wear them (we will have a few pairs on site but they go fast). Wear closed-toe shoes, jeans or long legged pants, and a light weight shirt - these should all be clothes that you don't mind getting pretty dirty. If you have work gloves, bring those too.

In lieu of people-power, here are some other ways you can help out:

 - Equipment for Saturday's clean-up:
- claw hammers, small pry bars, utility knives (or drywall blades and carpet hook-nose blades), scoop shovels, wheel barrels, squeegees, hard-bristle brooms, rubber work boots, work gloves, 5-gallon buckets, plastic storage bins/tubs, moving boxes, tape, markers, paper towels, cloth towels/rags, hand sanitizer/wipes, goggles

 - Food or drink or ice or donations for Saturday's volunteers.

Share this information with anyone that you think could lend a hand, please.
