This took place a few months back, and undoubtedly happened early into the evening because by the time I got to my laptop that morning, the puke was dry and crusty.
After what i felt was a thorough and careful cleaning session, about a third of the keys were unresponsive so I even popped them off to try and clean below. No dice.
I dreaded the idea of taking it in to get fixed so I just graves an old external keyboard and used it instead.
I finally reached the point of no return and bit the bullet; finding a new and cheap replacement keyboard ($25, $32 with shipping). A quick search on google on how to swap keyboards and literally 5mins later... VOILĂ!

Now the question is, why didn't I do this months ago?!
Lesson to you: if you own a cat, never ever leave your laptop open overnight. EVER!
Question for you: What has you cat ruined with puke?

I didn't know the keyboard comes off! I remember my cat would puke on the kitchen tile, but would always land on the grout part, staining it! she just couldn't puke in the center of the tile!
