Could this be the fix?

I know it's getting old... All this talk about my IT Band, and the stuff i do to try and fix it, so the dozen of you that read this stuff are welcome to continue to disregard these boring posts. Hopefully, this will soon come to an end with the start of Airrosti treatment today at 11:30.
I posted earlier this week a couple of videos of Airrosti, and I think they do a decent job describing stuff, so if you want to know more, watch them.

Yesterday I had my consultation with Dr. E. If this newest Witch Doctor (#5 on my list) fixes me, i'll be sure to offer up his name and give him all the props he deserves, but for now, he remains Witch Dr E.(WDE) The meeting was about 30 minutes long where he proceeded to give me a long explanation on how they differ from ART, GRASTON and other things I've tried. He didn't flinch, smile, laugh or even blink when I mentioned Acupuncture, so I'm curious to find out what he thinks of it.

Long story short, they are anal with their tracking. After every session, the patient fills out a multiple choice form. This in turn is tracked by AIRROSTI HQ in San Antonio and all 55 (or so) Doctors certified in this treatment are measured, rated, tracked etc. If a doctor's results start to slip, AIRROSTI will bring the doctor back into the HQ for more training. WDE showed me his latest monthly report. He has performed 1393 sessions with patients since he started, the %age improvement/change from session to session are quite remarkable, and he currently has an average of 3.1 sessions before a patient is discharged. Now, I'm not sure that 3.1 means successful treatments or simply treatments as a whole, but it was nice to see that he expects this to be figured out in about 3 sessions. (or maybe it just means that patients on average declare bankruptcy after 3.1 sessions and can't return?)

Today is going to hurt. He had no reservations in telling me that it will be painful, and all work is done with his two thumbs. 30 minutes of treatment/adjustments etc, followed by 30 mins of physical therapy with his assistant. He wants me to go out and test the ITBand every day on runs to see if it improves. Does it hurt less?, can i run longer before the pain comes? He wants to gauge exact improvements so he can make adjustments to how he tortures me at the second session etc.
He also said that if I don't see significant improvement after 2 sessions, he will strongly recommend imaging/mri to see if there is some sort of a tear, possible stress fracture etc. I have to say I'm excited about this. Sure, I've had other people tell me they can fix me in X sessions, and so far, it hasn't worked, but for some reason the resounding feedback i got back from asking many people where they thought i should go was to see WDE. He did a quick scope session just to see if there was any noticeable structural issues with my knee are(there were none) and then without even directing him, he pressed his weapons(thumbs) straight onto the area known as DEFCON5. Holy christ did it hurt, and all he did was fiddle for 3-4 seconds. Combine that with the statistics he showed me, and I can't help but be excited.

However, i know how painful other stuff I've done has been, and I know this is going to be significantly worse. So at 11:30am CST, smile and laugh thinking of the pain I'm enduring.
