Stretches, and the state of the union.

I went for a little run on Sunday.  My usual Sunday options of people to run with had other plans so I took the opportunity to test my fitness on the trails.  I ran at a less than jovial pace and realized that a pace I could keep for over an hour after having run for 3 or 4, was a pace i could only hold for about 30 minutes.  Karma struggled to keep up but since he knows all the short cuts in the windy sections, he consistently retook the lead.  Overall a 65 minute run, with plenty of IT Band pain for the last 20 minutes.  For the week ending Sunday, i ran 2 times for about 2 hours, and somewhere around 10 miles total.

I continue to stretch and do my squats and am debating on trying a new PT (Physcial Therapist).
After 4 different therapy "failures", the options I am considering are..

  1. - A PT friend that claimed she could fixed me in 4 sessions. (lets just say she wasn't completely sober when she made this statement) BUT, other friends tell me she's really good.  However, I've heard the "i can fix you in 4-6 sessions line 3 other times!  But I can't give up hope that someone will figure it out.
  2. - Different PT friend that worked on me one day.  it hurt like hell, and it ached for 2 days after, but he says he thinks he can fix me too.  I may reach out to him.
  3. - Bite the bullet and try Airrosti.  After hearing my story, almost every one says, "Have you tried Airrosti?"  The answer is no, I haven't, and it's expensive.  I've had some financial expenditures in the recent past that make the word "expensive" not very appetizing.  And I also know from hearing others go, that it's very painful.

I'm just really tired of being injured. Really really tired.
