I mentioned I stayed home in bed or on my couch sick with a bad cold coughing up a storm over the weekend.
I've gotten better, but still coughing quite a bit.
I did go to AIRROSTI treatment #2 on Monday and politely wore a face mask to protect all in the office. (They kindly offer them up to us sick ones. )
I made a big mistake by going for a very hilly hilly run on Monday, and ended up having to walk back as I was completely depleted from the little energy i had. The ITB felt fine, but that doesn't say much as i ran 35 minutes and walked 55 while feeling Like I was going to faint due to lack of energy. hahaha! What a rookie move.
Since then, the Arctic Storm that has taken over much of America has appeared so I've found it easy to not go run and let my cough subside instead of increasing the chances of this cold getting worse.
However, there is a slight chance for light snow over night Thursday to Friday morning and if that is the case, you better believe I'll be out running on the trails!
The new photo above is of Karma during the Arctic Blast of winter 2006/2007. We didn't get snow, but everything froze over so it was still pretty cool to be out there in the freeze.
