Monday - 6 miles Roads - Ran on my own, 1 mile with Karma.
Tuesday - 0 miles - I cannot remember why i didn't run. no clues in my work calendar either. So strange how one can forget things like that.
Wednesday - 11 miles Roads - Stacey and I ran 10 miles on roads. I ran 1 extra beforehand with Karma. A really good run.
Thursday - 0 miles - late Wednesday night at Improv Comedy class.
Friday - 14.5 miles Roads - Somehow I got conned into running a longer run than usual which was even longer due to running a mile with Karma beforehand.
Saturday - 16 miles 50/50 mix - My legs were really tired from Friday's 14.5 on roads. I'm just not up to speed, strength and fitness in the legs to run roads for that far, and recover within 24 hours. But I had to get out there and crank out 16, regardless. Joined Dan from his house for 8 miles on the road, then hopped on the trails as his house is conveniently within a 1/4 mile from my favorite trail head. The 8 trail miles were slow and I enjoyed many stops at overlooks, by the creek and the top of the Hill of Life. Total time on feet was 3 hours and 15 mins, which makes the pace seem very very slow, but at least 25 mins of that was me sitting on a rock dreaming about a cold beer.
Sunday - 0 miles - purposely ran 16 on Saturday to be able to take off Sunday and go spend the morning at the Improv Comedy Marathon I wrote about last week.
Total 47.5 miles. My goal was a minimum of 45 and max of 50, so I'm happy with my result.
Next week should be a 50mile + week, but with a late night tonight (Weezer concert), and a rest day Thursday due to a late Wed night (Improv Class), and wedding duties all day on Sunday, this could get tough.
