From seed:
- sunflowers
- radishes
- squash
- cucumber (4 plants to grow vertical)
- beets
- bell peppers (3 plants)
- okra
- peas
- 4 types of beans: green, green, yellow and purple.
- basil - two types, sweet and geneva
- carrots - "any season" type. (I have my doubts that they can handle the texas sun as carrots are cool weather veggies.)
Purchased baby transplants:
- 7 plants of tomatoes: 2 plants of cherry 100, 1 early girl, 1 heinz, kellogg, 1 green zebra, 1 yellow pear
- butternut squash
- eggplant - regular shape (2 plants)
- eggplant - banana shape (6 plants)
- bell peppers (2 plants)
- zucchini
- watermelon
- mexican mint marigold
Transplants are inexpensive.
They ranged from 99¢-$2.99 depending on the plant.
Tomatoes were on the high end, but $3 is cheap for the yield that I will enjoy.
$2.29 for all 6 banana-shaped eggplants!
