Here you go, Karma, something to remember us by.

As I mentioned in past posts, we got an offer on our house, and so we're a week away from the movers coming and moving all our stuff in the newly signed for, apartment.

We currently have quite the backyard, and the fence to the outside worls is what you call a goat fence.

Our dogs get to interact with all kinds of wildlife. Deer, Foxes, Armadillos, Rabbits etc. Late last week for example, Karma proudly left a dead 6 inch lizard on our back porch, so that I could see what he had protected us from. He's so nice!

Anyway, in the house I smelled this funky smell. I figured it was the (used)boxes I had bought that had some weird stench, or maybe my in-laws' desk we traded for had some weird cat marking scent. Last night, coming back from the trail with Karma in the car, I smelled the smell again, and it was coming from him. Then it dawned on me. It smelled like a faint version of the dead skunk on the road smell we all smell from time to time on road trips. ugh!

I guess the skunk decided to wish Karma a nice farewell, and gave him something to remember him by! I'm glad Karma is athletic, because it's quite safe to say he jump ot of the way, and only got hit on parts of the body. Way to go Karma!

I washed Karma thoroughly with Skunk Off and I hope it worked. Problem is, my hands stink now.

After I was done washing him, I videotaped him, as dogs usually go crazy after you wash them and they're all wet, sprinting across yards.
