I can also pull out a Granola bar or some pistachios from my drawer and munch away.
The issue is, my colleagues around here are moochers. If it’s not a tangerine they want, it’s a handful of Pistachios. They don’t understand that the snacks I’m eating are unlike their Cheetos, their sunflower seeds, their cookies, their _____________ they can purchase out of the vending machine.
I don’t want their snacks, and I never ask them for some of whatever they’re eating.
How do I politely say:
“Look man, I need this food as energy for my body to function properly during my training. This is not just a snack like the ________ you munch on. This is an added meal for me. Yes, pistachios are good, but these are not community ‘stachios. Buy your own damn snacks. ”

You need to find a sticker that looks something like this ( Click Here) to put on the container on your desk that holds the food. That would discourage moochers.
Put the nuts with your nuts. Doubt they will want them after you whip 'em out.
next time they ask, just grab a handful of nuts, pop them in your mouth, slober all over them, them throw them back in the bag and shake the bag up....
then offer them the bag....
My sister used to do this to me...it was very effective in limiting my requests. sigh.
Well said.
Tell them I said that you can't share...you need the fuel!! Pretty good snack choices: almonds, walnuts, or cashews would be better...

Tell them if they sell more software, they can buy whatever the hell snacks they want, but they can't have yours.
