Key Largo

Day one started off just fine flying out to fort lauderdale.
The house we are staying in for two of the three nights is literally
on the water's edge, and Coors Light never tasted so good.

The Cayenne Turbo drives really well, accelerates like a champ and
corners incredibly well. We all agree that the inside of it is
nothing more special than a different luxury SUV, and the navigation
system was clearly designed by Germans who have never heard the words
"user friendly".

Shrimp, oysters and blackened Mahi mahi bites rocked, and the beer was
cold at snappers.

It's become a real adventure for me as my luggage never arrived with
me. They since called and told me its at the airport for me to pick
up, but as all I need is a pair of shorts a t-shirt and flip flops,
I'm just going to buy things as I go.

I forgot to buy a toothbrush, and other toilettries when we went to
the grocery store to load up on fluids, so I'm off to do that now.

My 3 friends are still passed out, but I've been up since 5:30. It
kinda works that way when you are used to running in the am. Which by
the way is the one big drawback... My running gear is not here so I'm
stuck without running. Kinda sucks because its a really beautiful
morning in paradise, an I'm craving a 5 to 7 mile run to check put
the coast line. Oh well...

Off to Winn-Dixie I go.

Run on the beach barefoot until your feet hurt. And rag out that Porsche for me.
