Tomorrow is a new day

My legs felt like bricks from the very start. Never got comfortable.
Once I was off pace for Boston and I knee it was gone, I eased up,
walked quite a bit, then ran. People were dropping off or slowingway
down.
After talking to by coach yesterday she said the prudent thing may be
too call it a day and just refocus for Houston in january, or Dallas
in decemebr.
I stopped at the half and walked back. They wanted to give me a medal
but i refused to take it. Why would I get a medal?!
Anyway, I'm fine and satisfied
With not blowing up my legs.
Tomorrow is another day, and there will be a better day for a race.
Thankyou for everyone's support and caring. I'm sorry I let you down.
( I know I didn't let u down, but u know what I mean!)

Sorry the race didn't turn out like you'd hoped :(, but it sounds like it just was one of those days when a great race wasn't in the cards. You will get 'em next time, you've got a great base built up and you training sounded like it went very well.

Mike sorry the weather didn't cooperate in Chicago. Glad you had the smarts to call it a day instead of have an Austin Marathon repeat!
