Surprisingly, I am nowhere near as sore as I was after Austin Marathon in February. However, I also didn’t run myself to the ground, and spend 90 mins in the medical tent, so I think those would go hand in hand. Sore muscles here and there, mostly my quads, and some uneasy moments walking downhill and up and down stairs.
Just got a 30 min Chair Massage here at work. Scalp, Neck, Shoulders, Back, Hips, Arms, Hands Fingers… A nice start to the road to recovery.
Tomorrow, I have an hour leg massage with Lisa, so after those, I think I’ll be feeling almost as good as before the marathon. I’ve already decided to go for a 5 to 7 mile run on Saturday on the trails. I can’t wait to run again.
I’m still trying to find a moment to type up my marathon experience. I think Thursday after work will be the next opportunity I get.
I am also getting really excited about the St George Marathon next October 4th. I just hope I get picked, as it is a lottery based registration. (more about this soon)

I am glad you are excited about St. George. I am sending you some of my good lottery 'juju', as I have been picked both times successfully
As I've said before, I'm your fan, Wiley Coyote! You are one of the high points in terms of people I've met running. :->
I'm interested in St. George. Let's talk!
