Since Karma’s been a pup, I’ve fed him Nutro Brand food. First puppy food, then Small Bites for Grown up dogs. It’s not something you can buy at a local grocery store, and it’s always been OK’d by my vet as good food to feed Karma or any other dog.
As we move into Karma getting back into shape with his running fitness, I decided that maybe he needed a change in foods. Afterall, I think I’d get lackadaisical if I ate the same thing for 8 years. So, Marla suggested going to Tomlinsons and speaking to them, and Meredith told me they switched Daisy’s food to Senior Nutro and her energy changed almost overnight.
So, I blocked out a lunch, and headed over to Tomlinson’s to see if they could offer some ideas. The lady there was extremely nice and knowledgeable, and by the time all was said and done, I was walking out, with not only some Glucosamin Peanutbutter flavored treats (Hip Action), but also a new type of food for Karma, called Innova.
I will slowly transition him over to it, so his stomach handles it better, and he doesn’t have accidents all day. Yesterday was his first 75% Nutro 25% Innova, and I’ll slowly move him over.
Nutro had good stuff in it, and the main ingredients are rice and lamb. It was plenty good, but check out all the good stuff this new stuff has for him. I've already noticed that he goes for the new stuff first in the mix i've been feeding him, so that's a great sign.
I’ll report back and tell you if I see a spunk, or a quicker step in him.

Innova is supposed to be great...Yay Karma!
Does Innova make cat food, too? Although, the last thing I need is more energetic kitties!!
