So i did my 20 miles, in fact, it was 20.6 miles.
but i also almost blacked out and fainted for a few miles 16-18.5. It was bad. Almost felt like AT&T marathon 2007.
i had the correct amount of electrolytes, there no lack of hydration or food during the run. Just got my ass royally kicked by the humidity, the heat, and the 3 hours of running. Seriously, i had to lie/sit down 4 times, because i was about to pass out. The ladies almost didn't let me keep going. But i finished.
I was soaking wet from sweat within my first 2 pre meet warm up miles! 79 degrees when i parked at 6:40. Probably 90+ by the time we were done.
tomorrow is a new day, and i'm going to rock out my 12 miler.
(Randy, walked through your yard to your water hose, and refilled our water bottles. Your deck looks nice)
(one chocolate milk, one apple, one 1/2 liter of water with NUUN, 15 minute soak in barton springs, and now lying under the covers in bed with cool AC, with one half liter of water mixed with white grape juice, and i feel normal again. Ladies, thanks for hanging with my sorry ass today. Bonking sucks)
i love my AC, my bed, and my comforter. It's long nap time, followed by Big, healthy, recovery lunch, and maybe another nap.

I had completely sweat through my cycling top today in front of my house simply AIRING MY TIRES. Sheesh it was a hot tamale today! I'm sorry you bonked, but with this weather, it's bound to happen. At least you know what to do!
