Well, I made it. That's pretty much all i can say about this run. We ran slow, and it felt like it took for ever.
2 hours 54 minutes with plenty of waterstops, including 2 entries into homes to refill water bottles, one convenience store, and a visit to Lance Armstrong's new store. Looks pretty nice, very spacious in there. and they have ICE COLD water. Oh yeah! it hit the spot before the last barn sour mile. 4th and Nueces.
the good news is, it's now 2 hours later, i'm home, i've showered, and i drank a recovery drink immediately after the run and my legs feel pretty good compared to past 18 milers. not sure if it's the increased mileage i'm putting in, the post run drink that went straight to the legs, or just a mental fluke. we'll see.
With tomorrow's run I'm going to hit AND exceed my goal this week! Pretty proud of myself!

You should be proud! Just a couple of weeks ago you were concerned you wouldn't be able to up your mileage very easily, and look at you!
