"It was a tremendous performance: three hours, 35 songs, four encores..."
"I can't recall a time when leader Robert Smith has been so generous with the obvious stuff."
"... it all suggests that inside he's electrified and renewed, even if his smoky-black eye shadow and red lipstick remain the same as ever."
"In any case, he just delivered far and away the best Cure concert I've seen in more than 20 years."
Here's the full write up of May 31st's Los Angeles show.

Yes it's sold out, but plenty of tickets to be had on Craigslist (like the one i got), and it's all Gen Ad.

I owe you a big thankyou for introducing me to this band when we were kids Mike. They have been a part of my life for so *^%&$&% long and have just the right song for whatever mood I find myself in. (I have upgraded to CD's.)
So, I am going to share a secret with you now: I have been jealous of my little brother ONLY TWICE in my life. The first was when you got to have all the cool Star Wars toys and I got none - no worries I now get to play with my sons'-ha ha. The second is this week, when I came to find out you would see The Cure live again! HAVE A GREAT TIME!Will you be doing the finger dancing this time too? (And think of your sis at least once while you are there and channel it this way - ha ha.)
