Monday fun run

It's fun to get your week going with a little 10 mile group run. Larry and Jason have decided to join Bruce, Ken and I on Mondays.
Good stuff.

Based on extensive analysis of the California Internation (CIM) course and some videos I found, it looks like the hill (pictured below, courtesy of Google Streetview) is the roughest one on the fast CIM course. We've determined that it's about 1/4 mile long, and is probably something like running up S.Congress or South 1st from Riverside. I've therefore decided to run those two hills ad nauseum until December so that by the time CIM comes along on Dec 7th, it'll feel flat as a pancake.

Once again, the magical mystical waters of Barton Springs did not disappoint!

There are rumours that a 3rd person in our training group is going for the century mark this week. As enticing as it sounds to join in, I'm not going to partake and still keep this Sunday as my next OFF DAY. 10 miles down, 72-75 to go!

P.S. AT&T is here setting up U-Verse and my new internet line. Can't wait to go to Timewarner's offices at lunch to fire them!
