Mere mortals attempt to be Olympians. hahah

(stolen from my running group's forum - Thanks, Karen! Great stuff!)

These 2 guys who considered themselves average athletes, picked 5 Olympic events and decided to do them and see how they would do in comparison to the Olympic athletes. They did the 100 m freestyle, 110 m hurdles, 100 m. sprint, long jump, and the rings.

Sounds familiar. On my better days I can do under 1:30 for 100m freestyle, compared to 46s for the world record.

Running I can do about 18s for a 100m
