My legs were really tired from the hard effort i put in yesterday.
In addition, not being able to sleep till after 11:30 meant less than 5 hours of sleep.
This made for a sluggish first 6 miles. I honestly thought about turning around at our first waterstop and only going 4 miles.
But as is always the case, with sacrifice come rewards, and for the last 4 miles, I actually felt great, my legs were light, muscles loose, and I was awake.
Just a nice and easy pace, followed by a leg soak in Barton Springs.
Next run I do will be a 26.2 mile run on Saturday, on the side of Mt Hood.
Weeeeee!!!!!
