Sunday and Monday I worked Marathon hours at work on a proposal that was due before midnight Monday. Slept 4.5 hours on Sunday to Monday, then ran 14 miles and got to work. Then worked and forgot about hydration or eating till 4pm when I remembered I should eat lunch. 2 PB&J's. At 11:05 pm, I realized I should maybe eat dinner. Got 3.5 hours of Sleep Monday to Tuesday, then did the Tuesday workout on low gas, and little sleep. Flew up to chicago, ate dinner and slept like a rock. Woke up at 5:37 without an alarm and just rolled over for more sleep! Sometimes, you just have to take that mid week sleep in day!
As this is our recovery week, I decided to skip running today, as I pretty much stood on my feet all day.
But tomorrow it's back on. Rain or Shine, i'm running a minimum of 10 miles, hopefully a little more along Lake Michigan.
About Sunday's 10K. Apparently, we no longer have to run 10 miles before the 10k, so now I'm really in a conundrum of what my pace should be for the race. AND, I really think I'm going to run a 6.2 mile warmup before the race anyway, because I agree with a friend, that my legs will probably feel much better and warmer after 6 miles than they would after just 2. Hmmmm....
