many people's blogs I read, and several people at an event yesterday, shared their new year's resolutions.
I wasn't planning on having any, but I thought of one that will change the world that i revolve in, and decided to go for it.
"I'm bringing Phone Calls back!"
The world has gone Text Messaging crazy.
As such, if it's just a quick few text messages to convey something, then that's fine.
However, I'm referring to actual Text Messages with information in them. My rule is, IF THE TEXT MESSAGING IS OF IMPORTANCE AND LASTS MORE THAN 2 BACK AND FORTHS, I WILL CALL THE PERSON.
I am bringing back the phone call, because it's really the most efficient and time-effective way to get the multi-message message across.
That, and also because I will soon die in a horrible car crash if I keep up my text messaging ways while driving.

I'm bringing porch monkey back!
You are so right, I used to text and drive all the time with my old 1992 phone, but can't do it with the iPhone, too freaking hard!!!
Is resolute a word?? After not resolving to change anything, I read an article by Dick Beardsley and now resolve to let immaterial crap just slid off my back. Ie - if someone pisses me off I'm just gonna let it go instead of making an issue about it.
It's now illegal to text and drive in California. Maybe the trend will spread east????
That's some truly impressive mileage you managed in 2008, by the way.
What, no blog post today? Makes me worry that you were back to your old ways and texting while driving caused an accident!
