weekend. The result: 0 people in line to check in. 2 people in front
of me at security check. 3 people sitting at my gate.
Turns out TSA has changes their ways and now you put your shows on the
belt first and NOT in the bins they provide. Security dude
congratulated me on a job well done as I challenged the metal detector.
And now I sit here at the airport peactically on my own, bored stiff,
thinking: "I wonder if russ would like a 5 days old Local paper to
peruse?"... "but if I leave my spot chances are someone will take my
seat by this wall with a power plug. Hmmm..."
The decisions I'm having have to make today are monumentally difficult.
In other news, I'm going to wear my compression socks all the way to
Stockholm to see if Jet Lag on the legs is minimized. That's 15.5
hours total with about 11at 36,000 feet. I'll report back at some
point with news on the outcome.
Wow! A lady with a kid in a kid cart thingie(forget what you call
those) just walked by and spoke perfect Swedish. "no, we're going to
come back to this gate in a little bit" she told her little shrimp.
Stroller, that what they're called. Hate to sound mean, but I sure
hope that kid has plenty of toys and napping talent to stay quiet on
the long Atlanta-Stockholm flight, because chances are, she'll be
sitting right behind me.
Can you tell I'm bored? That newspaper sounds good eight about now!
