I said it yesterday, now they're saying it today.

Yet again, yours truly accurately predicted the future:

"The Austin City Limits area of Zilker Park will probably remain closed until the end of the month, as city officials work to rehabilitate the newly planted sod, which is mostly covered in mud after the weekend festival, officials announced today."

But you see, i also predict that they will postpone the re-opening well past end of October.  Stay tuned...

They should just pave the whole thing. Maybe put a mall there.

Your question: what am I going to run at Oil Creek this week?

MW said...

yes! it can compete with barton creek mall!

your answer: you will run for 40-45 miles, and walk/climb/shuffle/jog for 55-60 miles.

as for a time, i see the number 26 in your future.

hey do you know if they offer web tracking like the bigger 100s?

Maybe as in 22:26. Even if I walk for 60 miles I'll beat my Pb time on this course.

I don't think they offer live updates, but I'll have Katie updating my blog during the race.

Obviously that shit (literally, it is our shit, that Dillo Dirt) is going to be closed for a long time, much longer than two weeks to a month.
