when did you stop writing about your runs? you posted this morning about your 14 mile run and registering for Boston? Did you stop writing about runs at lunch or something? lol.
i used to write every day, but then reduced it to a weekly update, with a sprinkle or two of memorable moments.
Today i wrote about the sunrise, but not about the run itself! ha ha ha. maybe I will do that. just write about the one highlight of every run! we may have a winner!
Brownie, our Boston showdown will be epic, since there's a REALLY strong chance that we'll even be in the same corral, so we can cover each other's attacks! it's gonna be so guuuuuuud!!!
If by "racing" you mean walking up and down mountains for 24-42 hours while taking craps in the woods, then yes, you may be favored. At least, i'll let you keep thinking that, as my part of the psychological games.
As yes, "racing". You mean when you were running your 'A' race for a BQ, and I was running Austin as a workout where I was to run the hills at between 10k and 1/2 marathon pace, and recover on the flats, then hammer a bit more down duval and then let up for the last 3 miles. yeah. Quite the 'race' that was! Don't quite recall the fetal position either, since i still ran what ended up also being a BQ time on that training run.
It was definitely an A race as I stayed out 'till 2AM at the Mean Eyed Cat drinking Boone's the night before. And I didn't actually see the fetal position, that's just the only excuse I could come up with to justify the difference in finishing times, since we were together at the 12 mile mark.
And just to add more fuel to the fire: the Mile High Music Festival, which I would guess draws about the same size crowd as ACL, is held on a bunch of soccer fields. And the fields are open the week after the show.

That will favor me, since I have much more experience in playing the psychological games of racing.

No, I mean "racing" as in when I left you lying in the fetal position after your lame attempt at smack talking during last year's A-town marathon.
I think he might have you on that one.
and I also did notice the 3 hours of non-running related content on the blog. Something of a record.

Hey Gordon, don't you have a photo to go upload, or an umbrella to set up for back lighting somewhere? ;)

Isn't Gin & Tonic your 'B' race drink of choice at 2am?!
Boones has fruits and juices in there!
We were drinking G&T earlier. And shiner.
