Resolutions are a thing of the past and don't work. Challenges are a thing of today and the future.
And with that, I introduce to you my challenge for 2010:
Consume a minimum of 100 milkshakes throughout the year.
The rules are pretty simple.
1- I will drink/eat/consume a minimum of 100 milkshakes before the end of 2010.
2- The milkshakes can be homemade or store/restaurant-bought.
3- The minimum size of the milkshake must be the size of a pint glass...
3,a) When ordering at a restaurant, if the glass come with the leftover canister, the entire leftover canister must be consumed to count as 1 milkshake towards the challenge total.
3,b) When homemade, a pint-sized glass must be used, and each pint-glass-full counts as 1 milkshake as long as additional icecream is added to blender after each glass is poured.
4- A milkshake is a milkshake if Milk & Icecream are part of the ingredient. Fruit or other "exotics" can be added, but the two main ingredients must be present.
5- Alcohol such as Kahlua, Baileys, Amarula and other typical dessert alcohols may be added. Vodka, Rum or other mainstream alcohols do not count, as a white russian is NOT a milkshake, but something like a Kahlua flavored milkshake is perfectly acceptable.

Why not rum? It is the perfect addition to any milkshake. You could make the vanilla/banana milkshake add rum and you have a Nevis Smile Milkshake.
