My suspicions were confirmed but it's still good that I went as I learned alot about my knees and also how to prevent this from happening, or how to treat it.
About the issue:
My medial patellar retinaculum is angry. It is not an injury, just a mad MPR.
Simply put, but ITBands and Quads are tight, because i run hills hard, and so that was pulling my knee stuff over towards the outside and up.
The answer is IT Band stretches, Quad stretches and Icing.
Green light to run tomorrow.
About my knees:
They (yes "they". My doctor and an aspiring doctor doing his internship (or whatever they call a doctors internship - forget the name right this second) both looked at my knees, and I got xrays etc.
My knees are in great shape. He said they have great support, and good muscle buildup around them, and have no signs of arthritis or anything else. Other than this little issue i have today, he said he was very impressed by how both my knees are doing.
So there you have it. Superman has gotten a clean bill of health in the knees, yet again.
So all of you that think running destroys your knees... wrong again!
; )
P.S. Thanks for telling me to go!

That's great news Mike. Glad to hear you'll be able to run tomorrow.
Do you use the Trigger Point products? Do you have the Grid?
If not I highly recommend getting your own and using them. Much better option than stretching.
Hi Chuck, appreciate the kind words. However, I think i'll listen to my doctor, and not someone that stayed at Holiday Inn last night!
But yes, I have a $10 foam roller and it's part of the ITB work I will be doing.
Your doctor is an idiot. He should have recommended 52 days of complete rest.
Resident or Fellow
Residency!
That's it!!!
thanks!
